Everyday we are surrounded with pop culture. TV, Internet, Movie, books, music are only few things which show the influence of pop culture to the society. They have set stereotypes on many subjects. One of the most commonly dealt subject is women role and influences in the society. My name is Chungjae (Daniel) Lee, studying the female role in pop culture in Georgia Institute of Technology. I will be posting my articles and opinions on female influences and changes in pop culture, focusing on the Movie Industry. Going against a stereotype of adventurous and muscular male character, there have been numerous films featuring female protagonist in action films. Over the next few weeks, I will write my views regarding movies with female action heroes.
